Katie's 8th Grade Picture
Katie's memorial was last night. It really was a nice service, with plenty of friends participating and attending. The middle school that Katie attended performed a song- It really was beautiful. It made me cry - not that it was hard to do last night.
Tricia had a really neat slide show set up in the R.S. room for family and friends to get to know Katie. She had brought the scrapbooks, and Katies medals from gymnastics. WOW!! That girl was good!! It makes me sad to know she is gone. It is okay- we know where she is, and that she is not alone. She is happy and free of pain and illness. And for me, that helps knowing she is safe. She is doing something very special, I know that!
Say an extra prayer for her family!! They need lots of support through this!
